There is no war
between the dark and the light
the darkness does not fight the light
it can not
for when you shine the light upon it
the darkness disappears
of its own accord.
It is only your fear of the darkness
that protects it,
be courageous enough
to shine your Light
reveal the boogie man
for what he is
the illusion of your fear.
And now,
you have the luxury
to enjoy peace and comfort
in the womb of darkness
for it is a place of rest
a place of nurturance
and a place of rejuvenation.
