Living in Eternal Balance

Light and dark
day and night
male and female
equal and in balance
the goddess and the stag
heart to heart
eye to eye
drawing upon
their co-joined wisdom.

Rejoice beloveds
walk barefoot upon the earth
sing to the earth
sing to the skies
sing to the cascading streams
for within your song
nature’s peace and love
weave sacred arms
around your restless heart.

May we all return
to the heart of the Mother
where love and compassion
hold eternal balance
between all the worlds,
seen and unseen,
human and fae,
plant and animal,
all living in peace and harmony.

The Song Creates Itself

Listening to the gentle wind chimes
expressing their delight
playing with the breeze
as it stirs the music
the music that quietly awaits
this gentle stirring
without the need
to create the wind
or create the sound
simply resting
in the knowing
that the song
creates itself.

With my Heart Wide Open

With my heart wide open
the sun rises upon a new horizon
with its golden rays of Light
expanding my consciousness.

With my heart wide open
Love laps upon the walls gently
dissolving the old boundaries
washing them out to sea.

With my heart wide open
each footstep communes
with the earth beneath my feet
sensing her eternal Beauty.

With my heart wide open
the sweet breeze upon my face
is a song a Joy reminding me
of how delicious life is.

With my heart wide open
every precious moment
creates itself anew
expanding my Gratitude
to be Who I AM.

Ode to the Winged Ones

There’s a whir in the air
as hummingbirds whiz by
sprinkling their blessings of Joy
from flower to flower
they pass the day
sipping the delicious nectar
of the Goddess.

Then to my surprise
they divert their path
flying straight for my nose,
then hover aloft eye to eye
with Love and Appreciation
for kindred spirits and beings of Joy
we share this planet with Glee.

On a breeze from the sea
an illustrious dragonfly
sashays into this dance,
with it’s translucent wings
reflecting colors galore
my eyes all glitter
in joyous childlike delight.

The essence of nature
picks up the hummm and adds
her harmonious etudes
from the base of her roots
to the tips of her leaves
she lifts the veils
that no longer elude us.

Ahoy, the dance has fully begun
the hummer, the dragonfly, nature and me
with glissandos floating
from the strings of my harp
in this majestic dance of Love
in eternal Gratitude for this Planet so grande
and her offerings of Beauty and Joy.

Gratitude for all we’ve been Given

The rivers of expansion
have been running
powerfully fast,
more quickly than
we’ve been able
to fully perceive
sometimes caught
in the turbulence of rip tides
sometimes surfing the waves
sometimes shouting
in jubilant delight.

There comes a time
when we need to
branch off and
find a gentle tributary
allowing our boat to drift
through the tendrils of nature
to soothe and caress
to breathe deeply of the fresh air
run our fingers through the quiet water
and sing sweet lullabies of gratitude
for all we have been given.

Engaging in New Magic

In days gone past
spells were cast
passed down from age to age
attempting to shape
and manipulate the world
by bending energy
to one’s will

Those days are gone
for we have realized
that energy can not be bound
‘tis a mind of it’s own
energy has
by maintaining balance
and always seeking resolution

The magic of old
with it’s attempted control
is dissolved by the Elementals
as we flow with the energies
straight from our hearts
we’re engaging in new magic

‘Tis with the magic of Love
the magic of Joy
the magic of the Divine
there’s no need to manipulate
nor attempt to bind
for our energy
now flows freely.

The Joy of the Fae

The faeries don’t use pen and ink
they write their messages in the air
then with a puff of breath
and a sprinkle of magic
send them sweetly soaring
to the likes of you and me.

So, if you want to communicate
with with the creatures of nature
a whisper is all you need
their hearing is vast
and response instantaneous
with an innate desire to please.

I wonder sometimes
of their ever joyous state
as they flitter to and fro
without regard of their minions
who refuse to honor their life
or even acknowledge their existence.

We’ve much to learn
from our faerie friends
and the number one thing is JOY
for to dance through life
sprinkling glitter and light
’tis very much in demand.

Nature is my Teacher

Nature is my master teacher,
she shows me
how to live in the moment,
how to be in the flow of what IS,
how to appreciate what’s being offered anew,
rather than hanging onto what was.

For when you cling onto what was,
you strangle the life out of what is
and a slow death is sure to follow,
rather than a glorious unfolding
of thriving exquisite beauty.

Be YOU

A rose is a rose.
it doesn’t wish to be a lily,
it doesn’t try to change
its color or its scent,
it doesn’t attempt
to smooth its thorns.

It simply
unfolds it’s glorious petals
with the ease and grace of nature,
allowing its delicious scent
to permeate the air
for the enjoyment of all.

And it knows
if you get caught
on one of its thorns,
you’ll be more
present and careful
the next time
you attempt to handle it.

A rose is a rose
just as
I Am Me
and
You are YOU
each of us
shining our Light.

Suffer Not

The rose
does not suffer
as she drops
her spent petals
to the earth.

She allows them
to drift
effortlessly
on the songs
of the wind.

She does not
attempt to direct
their landing place.
Nor does she
morn their loss.

Instead. . .
she revels
in the sharing
of her gift
to the soil
as nurturance
for all that is preparing
to come into bloom.
