who am I

as I lay my head
on the pillow
and surrender
to the yet unknown

Rat a tat tat
in the morn
the woodpecker
calls me
into wakefulness

Rat a tat tat
remember
all of who you are
the totality
of the Divine.

Constraints of Time

The more present we become
the less real
the extraneous becomes
finally seen as the illusion
we dreamed up
for the momentary
experience of it

When we free ourselves
of the constraints of time
timelines collapse
memories and stories
effortlessly dissolve
and the wisdom of the soul
is distilled to carry forth

Unless, we are unwilling
to release them
allowing them to pull us back
into the matrix
of the illusion of time.

The truth

expand you
empower you.

will never attempt
to diminish
or control you.

Only you
can know your truth

will always
set you free.

it never was
even if you were taught otherwise
even if you embodied it
even if you have been living it
it’s not yours
it never was

It could only belong
to the false persona
you created to live
as a human
in a world of duality
a world you can walk away from
because it’s was never yours

Step away from
your human persona
step away from
all you thought was yours

Allow your Soul
to distill it into the essence
of Divine Wisdom
free of duality
free of judgment
free of measurement
free of assessment

FREE to live
as the truth of who you are
as the I AM
FREE to dance
to the music of the Divine
FREE to enJOY
the infinite potentials
FREE to create anew
in every moment without bounds
FREE to BE
all that you choose to BE.

Feelings

I have come to learn
I don’t have to feel
what someone else
wants me to feel

That doesn’t serve me
and it doesn’t serve them

Their feelings
are theirs alone
irrelevant
to my feelings

When I honor their feelings
and I am true
to my own feelings
I am free to react
in a way that can serve
all concerned.

Distilling the Wisdom

Much like the caterpillar
you spent the beginning of your life
feeding upon and devouring information
forming a self created ego
until it was time to wrap yourself
in a cocoon of solitude
to distill the wisdom
and recognize your True Self
allowing your ego to dissolve
into the pure essence of God
to unfurl your radiant gossamer wings
and fly to higher realms of Love and Joy.

The Illustrious Moon

The illustrious moon
who waxes
and wanes
month after month
year after year
decade after decade
over eons
beyond time

She who speaks to me
in many guises
showing herself
as a mere sliver of light
or the fullness of
an eclipsed blood moon
reflecting in the eyes
of the owl who sees
the wisdom
of all-that-is
in the midst of
the deep dark night

’Tis only now
I realize
she is simply reflecting
the wisdom
of Who I AM
the wisdom
distilled from
all my human experiences
the wisdom
that speaks from my heart.

There are no levels
of experience
high or low

unless we choose
to judge them

And then the experience
becomes a mental burden
rather than a beloved gift

Being free of judgment
we have the opportunity
to accept the gift

as a treasure
