Breathe
Beloved one
Breathe

For with each in-breath
there is an out-breath.
With each expansion
there is a clearing.

Just as the breath,
life has a rhythm
and a natural flow
growth and rest
all in perfect balance.

Just as the breath,
change is organic
energy in
energy out
a perfect recycling
in symbiotic flow.

Why clutch onto
what was?

To do so
is a slow unnatural death
Life requires
the breath of spirit.

Life requires Change.

And the stars
are singing. . .
This is the time!!

This is the time
to nurture
your precious seeds
with your loving caress.

This is the time to
stretch your roots,

fecundity of the earth.

This is the time
for the illustrious
Stars of the Heavens
to bear their Golden fruit.

The Need for Space

As the world explodes
with a cacophony
of mental chatter,
emotional turmoil
and external stimulus,
I need space,
lots
of
space.

Space between
my thoughts,
Space between
my actions,
Space between
my desires.

‘Tis the space
betwixt it all
that allows
the Divine
to breathe into me
to soothe,
to gentle,
to caress.

‘Tis the space
betwixt it all
that allows
the Divine
to breathe into me
to rejuvenate,
to revitalize,
to enliven.

‘Tis the space
betwixt it all
that allows
the Divine
to breathe into me
bringing me
back to life
as my Soul
knows itself
to be.

Ode to Winter Solstice

The eve of Winter Solstice
holds a magical air
for ‘tis the longest night,
with the richest fare.

Infused with wisdom,
unseen by most,
garnered by you
by your desire for growth.

In the morn,
the light filters in
and lo and behold
Awareness begins.

But without the darkness,
that rendered you wise,
the dawning light
would have nil to advise.

So sing ye an ode
to the bountiful darkness
for all the wonders
within the primordial womb.

to fight the wrongs of the world?
Or can you simply
create something new and
allow the old to wither away?

Do you really need
to do all the work?
Or can you allow
the Universe to
orchestrate it for you?

Do you really need
to control your world?
Or can you allow
the flow of nature
to shape its course?

What is it you really need?
Perhaps Love
is the answer
to all the questions
you’ve ever asked.
And Trust
is the only action
that needs to be taken.

Laying Down the Sword

I have laid down my sword,
for there are no demons to fight.
My inner demons have been laid to rest
by the Love that has transformed them.

My outer demons were never real,
for they were only illusions of my mind.
They too have been laid to rest
by the Love that has transformed them.

If others chose to wield their s(words),
‘tis their battle not mine
for my world has been
transformed by Love,
into a world of Peace.
