for the Promised Land?

When we expand our consciousness
we realize that we’re already
walking the Promised Land

Surface of Life

How often we allow
the demands of society
to rob us of the innate sensuality
that lies deep beneath
the superficial surface of life

Rather than being fully present
with the sweet scent of a rose
succulent juice of a peach
glitter of raindrops
vibrant colors of the sky
radiant warmth of the sun
touch of silk sliding across skin
or an intimate glance of love.

Soul’s Desire

The soul’s desire is to experience
just for the sake of experiencing

It has no need to validate itself
for it is already complete
in the knowing that it exists

The soul takes everything
the human experiences
distills it into its pure wisdom
drinks it all in and
falls more deeply in love with itself
again and again and again
with every new experience

The intrinsic passion of the Soul
is to experience the eternal fullness of life.

Blessings of the Human Mind

Our human mind
has served us well
as the ultimate protector
for our survival
and livelihood
based upon the collective
experiences from our past

At long last
we are awakening
to a new way of being
as the antiquated
programing
of the human mind
has finally run its course

We are now blessed
with expanded consciousness
and the realization that
there is more to life
than the limitations of
re-cycling old stories
drawn from the past

We are now blessed
as the wisdom of the Soul
is playing in tandem
WITH
the cognition
of the human mind.

Overcome by Tears

So many emotions surfacing
too numerous to count how often
I have been overcome by tears

Tears of Sadness
for all that’s been lost
those who have moved on
parts of me that no longer exist

Tears of Compassion
for the pain and suffering
humanity is moving through
during these epic transformations

Tears of Gratitude
for all the experiences accumulated
over a multitude of lifetimes
and how far I have come

Tears of Love
for all the aspects of my Self
that create the whole and sovereign Being
that I now know my Self to BE

Tears of Peace
always present
in the core of of my existence
untouched by what is happening around me

Tears of Joy
as the pure essence of Who I AM
and the ability to be fully present
here in this physical body

Tears of Celebration
with the Knowing that
WE have created a New Reality
for humanity and planet Earth

All these tears
All these precious tears

The elixirs and flow
of the infinite Source
through and as us
the eternal BEings of Life itself.

Expectations

Emotional turmoil
is the result of
our own expectations

Expectations of
those we love
family and friends
government leaders
religion and spirituality

Most importantly
the expectations
of our own self
for our own self

Whereas, our Soul
is always at peace
free of any expectations
experiencing life
as it presents itself
grateful for every moment
with an ever expanding
passion for life

There is no dark night
of the Soul

There is only
the dark night of the human
embroiled in its own expectations
before it awakens to the freedom
and true passion of the Soul.
