The mist of magic waft through the air
with whispers of mystical secrets.
The sacred fog wraps around me
in a blanket of infinite wisdom.
The foghorn sings its rhythmic dirge
taking me ever deeper.
Into the arms of my soul I dive
with complete lustful abandon.
The gulls overhead soar to and fro
drifting on the wind.
The sea laps upon the sand
caressing her sacred consort.
The sunbeams dance across the mist
creating delicate rainbows.
In one fell swoop the sun bursts forth
And the spell is completely broken.
But have no fear, it’s always here
the mists, the gulls and the sea.
Mother Nature is ever present
rocking us in her arms.
But it’s up to us to open our eyes
and see what once was hidden.
The truth of nature she holds dear
Always in abundance.
Now it’s up to us open our hearts
embracing all she offers.
