Precious Human

do you not realize
how precious you are?

You think your self
unworthy

You think your self
a sinner

You think your self
weak and ailing

You think your self
lacking

You think your self
unloveable

All these things
you think
with your mind

When you go
beyond the mind
beyond thinking

What you will find
is the perfection of
a cherished human.

A precious human
that embodies all the divinity
of love, joy and compassion.

There is nothing
more precious than
being human.

Mystical Embrace of the Moon

The full moon had her way with me
as she always does
seducing me into a sleepless night
while shrouding me in the mystic

I have long ago learned
to simply allow her wily ways
for she is ancient and wise
and has never steered me wrong

She beckons me high into the sky
expanding my consciousness
to see my world free of illusions
beyond the grasp of the mind

She lures me into her sacred embrace
during the darkest of the night
revealing the subtleties that cannot be seen
in the squinting glare of the sun

Together we expose the mysteries
divining all the answers
to the questions I first posed
when her back was to the sun

We listen to the hushed whispers
hearing the truth behind people’s words
in their times of broken heartedness
to soothe them with our love and compassion.

We lingered in the present moment
free of the past or future
beyond the concept of time and space
savoring All-That-Is

This morning the dawn shines brightly
with nary a moments sleep
and yet I am fully sated
by the mystical embrace of the moon.

Transcending our Thinking

There is no turning back
once we open ourselves
to living in the unknown

Sometimes my mind feels like
it’s courting chaos while attempting
to maintain the linear order of life

But my soul is soaring
because it’s always in the know
with moment to moment revelations

No wonder the mind feels threatened
with new potentials appearing
faster than the mind can keep up

It is in opening to all of life
the known and the unknown
that we transcend our human thinking.

Herein lies our Peace
our childlike wonderment
and our impetus to Thrive.

Calling Forth the Soul

When you call forth your Soul
you have also called forth
the eternal Wisdom of the Divine.

The Soul will not be content
to allow you to tuck it away
because it does not fit the persona
you have created for yourself
or the world that surrounds you.

The Wisdom of the Soul
will unerringly filter into your life
smoothing your path with ease and grace
or it will create havoc with your persona
who is unwilling to let go.

Your Soul will disrupt you
’til you embrace it’s divine wisdom
or haunt you until your death.

Eternal Expansion

Ascension bears no crown of achievement
there is no goal, nothing to attain
ascension is an ongoing process

Every time I expand my consciousness
I realize more of my GodSelf
as a result God also expands

Thus, I Am experiencing
an eternal spiral of infinite expansion
and continual ascension.

of separation.

Guidance of the Heart

The more expanded
our consciousness becomes
the more sensitive we become
to our physical environment
to other people
to our emotional reactions
to everything!

Go deep within
where truth and peace abide
here you will find
feelings differ from emotions
feelings are our heart messengers
whereas emotions are
the mental interpretation of them.

So before you engage
with the external world
I ask you,
Do your feelings really need
an intellectual interpretation?
Or can you simply
follow the guidance of your heart
beyond intellect
beyond explanation
and beyond words.

True to Who I Am

Who am I?

The one acting out
a persona projected upon me
by those around me.

The one playing the part
to maintain the status quo
to make others comfortable.

The one creating stories
to validate who I think
I should be.

The one fabricating excuses
when a simple “no thank you”
will do.

or . . .

Am I courageous enough
to step back from the drama
as the observer.

Am I courageous enough
to sit in the silence
no longer compelled to fill it.

Am I courageous enough
to surrender
all that others think I am.

Am I courageous enough
to simply be
true to Who I Am.
