In the early years of life
I filled my mind
with facts and figures
information and experiences
and spoke with intelligence
to be accepted by society
to become an integral part of the world
Until my mind became snared
in ceaseless circuits of judgement
with antiquated facts
which were no longer fact
because the world
is evolving so rapidly
Leaving no space to freely ponder
I have emptied the mental files
to return to the clarity of life
when my mind was a palette
awaiting colorful brush stokes
to create openly and freely
expressing my heart’s pure Joy of Being.
