As a young child
I saw what others did not
heard what others could not
felt what others ignored
and knew the reality of life.
But because of their fear
I shut it all away
and lost touch
with the true reality
of my inner world.
In later years I reawakened
to my inner world
and the gifts therein
but I did not share them
for fear of ridicule.
Meanwhile, humanity
was awakening, transitioning
and breaking down the old
while I floated in the space
between the old and the new.
I’m now stepping back into life
into humanity’s awakening
into a world of splendor
where I no longer attain
these childhood gifts.
Instead, I realize
they are part of Who I Am
and always have been
shining and radiant
as the totality of Who I Am.
