Overwhelm

When we feel overwhelmed
it is our natural tendency
to pull in and contract
in order to feel safe

But the overwhelm
is asking us to expand
to open more fully
to the totality of who we are

Take a few deep breaths
to clear all the limitations
of the mind clutter
giving it the space it needs

To realize the truth
and embody the totality
of who you are
of what you are capable

Herein lies the magic
of expanded consciousness
to create new realities.

I Am the creator
of my own reality

It is not up to me to create
anyone else’s reality

For. . .
how can I know
what another’s
divine soul path is

How can I know
what experiences
they are calling in
for themselves

Another’s reality is not mine
with which to interfere
rather to honor
their own Soul journey

Simply shining my Light
illuminates new potentials
for a more expanded reality
with the knowing that All Is Well.

Seduction of Distractions

The constant seduction
of worldly distractions
cluttering my mind
pulling my attention
diverting my energy
to that which is life depleting
rather than life giving

It takes a strong commitment
with discipline and practice
to command focus
long enough to stabilize
in the present moment
to remain centered
in my soul’s wisdom
to chose wisely

Continuous conscious choice
is required to employ
Self realization
Self trust
Self patience
often enough and long enough
to anchor into the true Presence
of Who I Am
where there are no distractions
only the eternal flow
of life giving Source.

My Inner Sanctum

is the Holy of Holies
the place of honoring
the purity of
all of Who I Am

My inner Sanctum
retains all the Wisdom
my Soul has distilled
from all my experiences
through all my lifetimes
reflecting it
into my outer world

My Inner Sanctum
has no room
for religious texts
teachings from gurus
stories of old
nor judgment
from self or others

My Inner Sanctum
is my sovereign
place of wisdom
with the answers
to all my questions

When I live and respond
from within my Inner Sanctum
I am at Peace and
I Am Free.
